DIN rail mounted conductivity probe/electrode level controller / water level relay / water switch, TENSE (Turkey)
TENSE VSR-05 water level controller (or water level relay) is designed to monitor and control the conducting fluid level within tanks, reservoirs, containers, process vessels or wells.
The liquid level controller works by providing a low voltage electrical circuit to an immersion type level electrode / probe which is submerged into the vessel. The level controller detects the electrical resistance between the electrodes at desired levels and provides a relay contact to the process control equipment by activating an alarm (or telemetry device), ensuring timely intervention to prevent overflow or dry running of the pumps, or turning on pump / opens valves to fill in or empty reservoir..
Operation modes:
- filling only with dual-level monitoring (3 electrodes)
- filling only with single-level monitoring (2 electrodes),
- draining only with dual-level monitoring (3 electrodes)
- draining only with single-level monitoring (2 electrodes)
- control of overflow or dry running of the pumps (2 electrodes)
Application area:
- Water management systems
- Wells
- Submersible pump installations
