The DHM-DIN / DHM-48 is a digital hour meter manufactured by Tense Electronics, designed to calculate and track the total operating time of electrical machinery and industrial equipment to plan maintenance intervals or lease time calculation.

Core features:

• Time Range: Measures up to 99999 hours.
• Display: Features a 2x3 digit LED display showing hours (3 digits), minutes (2 digits), and seconds (represented by 1 digit that ticks every 6 seconds).
• Mounting: Designed for standard DIN rail installation (DHM-DIN) or panel mounting (DHM-48), making it suitable for electrical panels and control cabinets.
• Operating Voltage: Typically operates between 150–260V AC at a frequency of 50/60Hz. 
• EEPROM memory.

Working Principle:

• Memory Retention: If the device is de-energized, it automatically saves the last recorded time. Upon re-energization, it resumes counting from where it left off.
• Reset Mechanism: The meter is resettable. To reset the count to zero, a non-conductive object must be used to press the reset button for approximately 5 seconds.
• Usage: It is connected to the load whose operating time needs monitoring. It starts counting as soon as the load is energized.
