DAV-72D panel mount digital ammeter and voltmeter for AC 100 amps, 150V

Panel digital multimeter 72x72 mm (electronic ammeter-voltmeter) 1-phase, manufactured by TENSE, includes current transformer.

The DAV-72D is a digital combination voltmeter-ammeter, designed for continuous monitoring:

AC voltage between phase and neutral conductor,

and the load current (AC) drawn, measured by an external current transformer (CT).

The instrument is used in electrical switchboards, in manufacturing, in distribution and in power monitoring systems.

Principle of operation and use

The instrument connects to the phase and neutral conductor to be measured via terminals - this enables voltage measurements.

The current drawn is measured using an external current transformer CT-120, which is included in the delivery.

The secondary winding leads of the current transformer are connected to the K and L terminals on the back of the instrument.

When power is connected, the display shows:

Actual phase voltage (in volts),

load current (in amperes).

Installation and setup

Install the device on the front panel (panel mounting), the cut-out dimensions are 68 × 68 mm.

Connect the CT-120 according to the diagram: the load wire is pulled through the transformer and its output is connected to K and L.

When power is connected, the device automatically displays the current and voltage values. (Do not use current transformers of other types or manufacturers - the values are calibrated at the factory specifically for the CT-120)
