Direct digital load relay with 3×3 digit LED display, 3-phase with timer, range 0,1-25 A, manufacturer TENSE (Turkey)

Digital thermal relays are designed to prevent and control damage to loads caused by high current.

Device application and operating principle

Connect the device according to the wiring diagram. When the connection is complete, apply power. After switching on, the display shows the set values for 5 seconds.

- Use the "A>" controller to set the overcurrent value . The set value is displayed on the left display.
- Use the "t" controller to set the delay time . The set value is also shown on the left display.

When the device is energized, the relay will energize, the output contact will switch to terminal 3, and the OUT indicator will light. If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the device will start counting down the delay time and the ERR indicator will light. After the time has elapsed, the relay turns off, the contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator goes off.

The TRM-12series electronic current relay is designed to automatically disconnect appliances when the maximum allowable current is exceeded, with a programmable trip range, trip time and return time settings.
There are also 3 modes of return to "operating" state - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset Modes:

- Manual Mode: After an overcurrent fault, the device must be reset by pressing the Reset button. In this mode, the corresponding LED is illuminated.
- Semi-Automatic Mode: The device automatically resets the system three times when an overcurrent error occurs, then waits for a manual reset when another error occurs. In this mode, the corresponding LED flashes.
- Automatic mode: The device automatically resets the system each time an overcurrent error occurs. In this mode, the corresponding LED flashes.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When the mode is changed, the corresponding LED light will illuminate.

Asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the largest and smallest phase current exceeds 50%, the device enters the asymmetry error mode within 2 seconds.
(During motor operation, this prevents damage to the system in the event of a single phase failure.)

During an asymmetry error:
- The display group of the two phases that caused the fault will flash and the ERR indicator will light.
- If the current is less than 2 A, the device does not check for asymmetry.
- To return from asymmetry error mode, the device must be reset manually.

Note: The TRM-50, TRM-100, TRM-200 and TRM-300 can only be used with the current transformers included in the delivery.
