High temperature ceramic screw type terminal block, 1 pole, stainless steel contacts, ONKA (Made in Turkey)
Steatite (artificial porcelain) is used in the production of insulating parts with higher electrical and mechanical strength than conventional porcelain materials.
Advantages over ceramics:
- Higher mechanical strength,
- Higher dimensional stability,
- Higher temperature resistance (1100°C)
- Higher resistance to acids,
- Longer service life
Possible applications: power cords, lightning fixtures, special industrial sockets, power supplies, instruments and other equipment with high ambient temperature and strict requirements for dimensional stability and resistance to acids.
