Shockproof sealed plastic housing with IP67 protection with mounting panel, Plastim (Turkey).
The plastic enclosure with IP67 protection has several important advantages, especially for use in harsh environments:
High protection against moisture and dust:
The IP67 rating means that the enclosure is completely protected from dust and can withstand short-term immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes, making it ideal for installation in damp or dusty locations - for example, outdoors, in industrial areas or near bodies of water.
Corrosion resistance:
Plastic is not subject to corrosion, unlike metal panels, which is particularly valuable in aggressive environments - near the sea, in chemical plants or in businesses with high humidity.
Ease and simplicity of installation:
The plastic housing is much lighter than its metal counterpart, which simplifies transportation and installation, especially in hard-to-reach locations.
Dielectric properties:
Plastic does not conduct electricity, which increases safety when working with electrical equipment and reduces the risk of short circuits.
UV resistance:
If a special ultraviolet plastic is used, the shielding retains its properties for a long time even when constantly exposed to sunlight.
